Today is a VERY SPECIAL day in our family! Little Bit is officially 1 year old today! It all started when two people fell in love, got married, and decided they would like nothing better than to have a family. The first born brought so much joy into their lives they couldn't wait to have another little blessing!
On October 8, 2006 at 10:39 am Braden Dean arrived. He arrived with much anticipation and with arms that couldn't wait to hold him. The first time I laid eyes on him I knew he would be his own person. He looked nothing like his brother and had a very calm presence about him. My sweet baby was here!
He was born at 7lb 4oz and 20.5 inches long. To say the least he had been snug for many months. I can still remember looking at his 10 tiny fingers and 10 tiny toes. Is there anything more precious then a baby...your baby?
As soon as I knew I was going to have another baby I started praying for the health of the sweet blessing. Then, as soon as we found out we were going to have another boy I prayed for "My boys" friendship. I want them to always know that they have each other...always!
Here is my precious Little Bit dressed for the trip home. I was so ready to get the little guy home. I still get goose bumps when I think of the first time we were at home all together...as a family. Sweet baby boy.
Now we arrive at the Little Bit's First Birthday Party! I love birthday parties...and I love giving them for my boys! The birthday theme was John Deere. How CUTE!!!! Great-Grandparents, Grandparents, and Auntie Lindsey and Uncle Corey were all there to wish the Little Guy a Happy Birthday! Let's just say Little Bit is soooo loved!
Isn't he too cute with his John Deere Tractor bib and Hat on?
Finally was the cake! Let's just say Little Bit acted like he had eaten cake all his life. He dove in and didn't stop until his piece was GONE! I think Chocolate is his new favorite flavor!
Braden, I love you with all of my heart and so does your Daddy and Big Brother! My life would not be complete without your wrinkle nose when you smile and your snuggling at night. I love to see you sucking your thumb while cuddling with your white blanket (that I can never keep clean!) The laughter and joy you bring to our family is a true blessing from our Father. You have changed so much over the last year and I know you will grow and continue to become the man God intends for you to be, but you will always be my precious baby boy...my Little Bit!~Happy Birthday!
