Eyebrows

Ok- I had to wait until this morning to type this post so that I could get through it without crying!!! I have thick eyebrows. I understand this and over the years have grown to love them. While living in "H town" I had a girl that kept my eyebrows nice and shaped! Well, now living in this new small town I have been a bit scared to trust anyone with these precious things that grace my face.

Yesterday I took the plunge. I had to- My brows were looking a bit shabby. So, I call..went in...walk out...and SOBBED all the way home! I have gone from nice shaped thick eyebrows to straight lines that have chunks missing out of them!!!!! My adorable husband was so nice and gave me my space as I worked to get all the wax still stuck in my eyebrows. He said, "they look fine, a little different but they don't look bad." I just sobbed (I think it was time for a good cry anyway!)and told him I am not going ANYWHERE looking like this!

The way I see it- I am planning a trip in August to "H town" and I will just have to let them grow like crazy and let "my sweet, wonderful, talented, old girl" fix them! Until then I am just going to have to walk around with a bag over my head! (this reminds me of an I Love Lucy episode!) I am really not vain- but everyone looks right at your eyebrows everyday and you can't just twist them up into a clip until they grow out!

What was that girl thinking! Oh- and you are CRAZY if you think I will post a picture of these two things on my face (HA!) Life is full of little challenges.

Uh-Oh!! Is it that bad?!? I'm sorry!! Do you need bangs? Or gigantic sunglasses that can be worn all the time?
I'm sure they'll grow before you know it. Will brow powder or pencil help in the meantime?

I think I would get funny looks if I had gigantic sunglasses on at church- but it is a thought! LOL!

When Trey gets home I am going to try to go get a brow pencil- I don't even know how to begin to look for one! Remember I'm the girl that always HAD the bushy eyebrows!-What is brow powder?

Oh-how sad!!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry! I KNOW how you feel about having bushy eyebrows! I'm in that club, too... Hang in there and when you come here next month we will have a day at the "spa"! Troy will babysit! :)

And, I do wanna see a pic...

Love ya!

The sunglasses would seem mysterious and maybe glamorous-HeeHee!
Brow Powder is softer than a pencil, you put it on with a brush, so it looks more natural. I like a set from Benefit that has a waxy color to fill and "hold" the hairs in place and a color powder to fill in too. Dillard's or Macy's might have it or look at Sephora.com

That is so aweful! I also have bushy brows and understand how important it is. I had to tell my girl once that I want Catherine Zeta-Jones eye brows not Lindsey Lohan's. ha ha. I feel your pain. So sorry.

My my my. Aren't eyebrows so essential? And when they are not right the world is off course. I always feel like people are staring at the one hair I forgot to pull out. I just hope everyone's eyesight is as bad as mine. Just take comfort in the fact that they will grow out. You are too beautiful anyway to worry about a few missing/crooked hairs!

Oh no! I am so sorry. As one bushy-browed girl to another, I totally feel your pain and I am just aching for you.
I am so glad that you are able to make a trip to see your old girl.
Maybe you can start looking at everyone elses brows in town and the ones that have good shape you can find out who they go to?!
Good luck!
