Snow? AGAIN?

The clouds opened up about 9:30 am and it started snowing...
AND snowing...
AND SNOWING!
I noticed the snow starting to fall while I was at work. At about lunch time we were told to head on home before the weather got too bad. Schools all around the area let the children go early so that everyone could get home safely. So here is my K-Man watching the snow...don't worry he will get to play in it a bit later. The forecast is 3-4 inches of snow- We are at about 1 inch (or so) and it continues to fall! What ever happened to snowing in December -February! I mean, Spring is in a couple of weeks!

***** Update- 2:45pm We played in the now 2-3 inch snow!!!****

For those who do not live in Texas...this is a huge deal! ...go ahead and laugh at us crazy folks running around in the COLD weather!!

Notice the K-Man's Camo rain boots!

We understand the snow is only going to continue through the evening hours. We are under a winter advisory until 6am tomorrow! WOOHOO!
Have fun out there K-Man. Your Momma didn't see snow until she was in college!
Say Cheese!..I mean, SNOW!

Burrrr!!! It is a bit chilly! I think ham and hashbrown soup will be just perfect for tonight!

Isn't the snow beautiful??? Having lived in CT for 3 years after we were married, we really miss it & it's such a treat when we get snow in TX! We've got about 3 inches at our house right now too!

But I won't be going out to play in it.... :)

OH! We are experiencing it RIGHT now!!! My kids went crazy in their sock-gloves. We are so pathetic. No snow clothes. But they loved it for about 45 minutes. A dream come true.

That sounds like so much fun! My kids would be in heaven.

BTW, are you going to share that Ham & Hashbrown soup recipe? It sounds intriguing.

Snow is seriously a huge deal for us, huh. I just wish it was on a different day. But my kids LOVED it.
